H I D headlights color contrast ?

I just bought a set of HID bulbs in a wiring kit from eBay and I need to know if I can change the color contrast to blue purple like 8000k-12000k with a different ballast, or do I have to use the color code on my lights it says it is 35w 6000k color contrast and it's diamond white will I blow them up! just want to see if any one can help me before I order thanks.

dose any one know how this works stuff works?H I D headlights color contrast ?
ballasts are color temperature specific (8000k ballast with 8000k bulb), 6000k is bright white, and 10-12000k is a cool color, but doesn't light very well. honestly, if you're using oem headlights, i would suggest sticking with halogen bulbs, if you go HID in a oem headlight, you will illuminate everything, and not just the road, you will basically just blind oncoming drivers...i have oem headlights and i use %26quot;fake HID%26quot; bulbs, which are colored to 10000k, but are halogen bulbs and still project the light correctly. HID headlight housings are specifically designed to project HID light onto the road.

I got my bulbs from HIDLOOK.COM... they also sell HID kits if you still want to go that route, or you can get super white PIAA bulbs, or even silvania silverstars from walmart...those work very well as well.
